Maui Weddings

For many years we offered Maui weddings but in recent years we have stopped. If seems like out of nowhere the island became overrun with myriad upstart companies offering Maui weddings. In short order, the few locations we liked to perform our Maui weddings became highly commercialized by “Mc-Maui Weddings” companies. The locations were fine, but our couples didn’t appreciate waiting in line while the other Maui weddings were taking place. Though we did enjoy offering Maui weddings, we always preferred the locations we had on Oahu, our favorite island. On Oahu, we consider Pukalani Falls Hawaii Wedding Garden, the Jewel Wedding Location in our islands. Maui weddings are considerably more expensive than other islands. Just Google Maui Weddings and do a comparison.

Another reason we stopped offering Maui weddings was because of the superior beaches on Oahu. Oahu is millions of years older than Maui, so Oahu’s Beaches are much larger and more spectacular. There are certainly many beaches for Maui weddings but the Oahu beaches have always been our preference.

That said, we have many couples staying on Maui, foregoing Maui weddings - flying over from Maui to Oahu for the day to be married by Capt. Howie. There are flights nearly every 20 minutes, and the flight time is only around 25-minutes.
