Aloha Capt. Howie & Sara,
I don’t know where to begin. On December 1st 2013 my love (and now husband), Eric, proposed to me. It was one of the best days of my life. My dream has always been to go to Hawaii. I told myself that I would go when I turned 40, even if I had to go by myself. Well, my dream came true when Eric said we plan a Hawaii wedding!
I went online and looked at different places to get married. When I came across Captain Howie’s website: hwold.elcadia.com, I fell in love with everything right away.
I emailed them and got a quick reply from Sara. She is amazing! She is the kindest, sweetest person I have ever met. I told her what I wanted and she made it happen. All she said I needed to do was show up, and she was right. She coordinated everything – flowers, cake, pictures, hair & makeup. By the way, Wade, our stylist, was fantastic. He made us (me and my mom) look like beauty queens. Wade was so nice & fun to work with! Sara also hooked us up with Eric from A Weekend in Seattle. Your travel agent Eric took care of all our travel plans. He was wonderful too.
On the day of our wedding, we met Captain Howie and Sara for the first time. From the time we met them, until the time we left, we all felt at home. During the whole day, there was no rushing or drama. It was perfect. The photographer, Fernando, was great too. He didn’t hurry us at all. He took a bunch of fun and exciting pictures.
We had our Hawaii wedding ceremony on the beach. It rained a little and then warmed up. A beautiful rainbow appeared while we were saying our vows. The touching words that Captain Howie said were so true and meaningful.
We can’t thank Captain Howie and his staff enough for the most perfect day in our lives. You all are the kindest and most caring people we have ever met. Everyone in Hawaii is so happy and nice. I would recommend Above Heaven’s Gate to anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii. It was a dream come true for us!
Thank you, everyone 🙂
